Statistics

The Statistics tab is used to view and manage statistical information about your Internet usage. The statistics field in the middle of the tab contains the basic information. Pressing the Extended button displays the additional statistics about the dropped connections.

Select from the drop-down box the All Providers item to view the total statistics for all ISPs/accounts you are using, or a particular connection name to view individual statistics for this connection.

Pressing the Explore button brings up the connections log window, which displays statistics about all connections established via Amazing Dialer.

The columns in the window are as follows:

Date/Time - the date and time when the Internet session started.
Connection - name of the connection used.
Duration - duration of the session (hh:mm:ss).
Speed - connection speed.
Received - the number of bytes received during the session.
Sent - the number of bytes sent during the session.
Cost - the total cost of the session (the duration multiplied by rate set in the Edit Connection window).

Click a column header to sort the sessions by the corresponding criteria (double-clicking the column header sorts the sessions in the reversed order).

The flexible filtering system lets you view all connections or only those that match the specified criteria (such as connection date and duration, ISP, the amount of data received and transferred etc.). Press the Filter button to bring up the filter window.

If the values are set as in the above sample, only the sessions that match all off the following criteria will be displayed:

  • The session was held from December 15 to December 17, 2001 inclusive.
  • The connection was established via the Krasnet account.
  • The session lasted less than 1 minute.
  • The connection speed was between 56000 and 57600 bauds.
  • From 1K (1024 bytes) to 100K (102400 bytes) of data were received.
  • From 64 to 1000000 bytes of data were sent.
